At some point, all of us encounter a problem beyond our understanding and control. Where your problem intersects with the law, James Law is ready and eager to help you make sense of the legal landscape ahead of you.
A general practice law firm based in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, James Law was founded out of the very basic desire of helping others practically solve their problems. To do so effectively, it is our philosophy here that those looking for a solution must be adequately educated along the way of the legal routes leading to the end result. That requires, of course, that both the client and lawyer begin on page one together — discussing fundamentals — rather than the lawyer dictating from several steps ahead.
Simply, therefore, the goal at James Law is fostering a better-informed client because with more knowledge comes more power over the problem.
Dedicated to Helping Solve Local Problems.
Founded in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, by attorney Ryan H. James, James Law is positioned to help individuals, families, and businesses throughout Allegheny County, Westmoreland County, and the surrounding areas with their legal problems, which entail:
Attorney James has developed a record of serving and helping others in need. Attorney James started his legal career interning in the nation's capital assisting a multi-national plaintiffs' firm; he clerked for a workers' compensation practice; he represented the indigent in a public defender's office; and clerked for a state supreme court. Now, locally, attorney James serves as the solicitor to his community, he serves as an arbitrator in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas, volunteers with Neighborhood Legal Services, and dedicates his time in leadership roles to the Allegheny County Bar Association and Heinz History Center.
The McKeesport Daily News named attorney James as the 2014 Readers' Choice (Gold Award) Winner for "Best Attorney."
In 2013, Ryan H. James was recognized as one of Pittsburgh's 50 Finest by Whirl Magazine and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (W.Pa. Chapter).
